“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46-47

We know that when you get together with people and have fun, you’ll begin to grow into a strong community that serves and grows together. We know it is hard to meet new friends and to find people who share your interests. At Faith Community we try to make that easier for you with multiple ways to build deeper relationships with God and others. Faith Groups are smaller groups of people who gather together to learn more about the Bible, get to know each other better, and put what they learn into practice in real life. Some groups are short term (see dates below) and others are longer term groups. There are groups for those just starting out in faith and those who are lifetime followers of Christ. Find the group that is right for you or contact with questions.

Financial Peace university

FPU is a 10-week faith group using a biblically based curriculum that teaches people how to handle money God’s way. You’ll learn how to take control of your money, invest in the future and give like never before. Some topics covered include cash flow planning, dumping debt, protecting your health, family and finances, retirement and college planning, real estate and mortgages and more.

Women's Book Club

Each month we will choose 1 book to read and meet monthly to discuss it. Discussion will focus on how and what God spoke to us, how the book context fits into the scripture, and how we can apply these spiritual truths to our lives. We will meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month, 6:30-8:00pm, at the church in room 226 with Rachel Aghjayan as the facilitator.
No meeting in January.

February’s Book to read: 12 Ordinary Men by John MacArthur;
Discussion on March 6.

Talking to your kids about God

Natasha Crain has focused on what it means to raise Christian kids in an anti-Christian culture. Her blog and books have become very popular. While very few people become experts in “cultural apologetics,” every parent needs to know enough to prepare their kids. And like riding a bicycle, it’s easy once you get the hang of it! We will work through one of her books, Talking To Your Kids About God, using a study guide. 6 weeks

Mondays beginning February 4 from 7-8:30pm in room 235.
Facilitator: Marty Pomeroy

How to Get Through What You're Going Through

In this groundbreaking study, Rick and Kay Warren will help women understand the journey of grief and other difficult challenges. You can have hope knowing God is in control, he will bring good out of bad, and he has a plan to use your pain for a purpose. 8 weeks.

Saturdays beginning January 26-March 16, 9-10:30am. Room 236.
Facilitator: Brenda Capuzziello
