Though the holiday season is joyful for many, it is painful for others. The griefs of life just seem to be intensified.
To provide care for those who are hurting at this time, St. Paul’s Church in Hopkinton, with the support of the Stephen Ministry at Faith Community Church, is holding a Blue Christmas service on Sunday, December 23 at 5pm.
This service is an oasis of peace. It provides an opportunity to offer up to God and remember people we have lost; acknowledge other losses like relationships, health, peace, spiritual loneliness; express our loss of direction in life and connection to God; and, end with the promise of hope found in the Christmas story.
We invite you to attend and spread the word. There will be opportunity for personal prayer if you so desire. People who came last year found it to be peaceful and helpful.
